Ran a two‑day marathon at age ten, raising funds for his primary school to purchase iPads.
PICKED UP A RACKET
October 2019
Identified by a school tennis coach for his natural ability and strong work ethic, marking the beginning of Charlie’s development in the sport.
MIGHTY HIKE
STEPPING UP TO THE WICKET

September 2021
Completed a 26‑mile Mighty Hike through the Wye Valley, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Charlie was the youngest participant to finish the challenge, demonstrating early endurance, commitment, and purpose.
Joined the Ross‑on‑Wye Senior Cricket Team in 2023 and became Bowler of the Year in both 2023 and 2024 after leading the team in wickets.
MACMILLAN KILIMANJARO CHALLENGE
October 2024
At 16, Charlie successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro, raising £14,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The challenge demonstrated his determination, resilience, and commitment to making a positive impact.

Charlie successfully advanced through UK Sport’s Find Your Greatness process and has been selected by British Shooting to continue on their talent pathway, reflecting his commitment, discipline, and potential within the sport.
SUMATRA JUNGLE TREK
September 2025
Completed a remote jungle expedition in Sumatra, raising funds for Macmillan while developing resilience, adaptability, and cultural awareness in one of the world’s toughest environments.
TEMPTING

Created Tempting, a handcrafted food and drinks business where Charlie makes all products from scratch and runs every part of the operation — showcasing his work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset.
BRITISH SHOOTING 10M RIFLE

Training at the National Shooting Academy in Aldersley and at Havant as part of his progression through the British Shooting pathway.
SAHARA DESERT TREK
March 2026
Charlie will trek across the Sahara Desert in March, taking on extreme heat and long‑distance endurance as part of his ongoing commitment to challenge himself and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE
July 2026
Charlie will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge in July, combining a demanding 24‑hour endurance test with fundraising to support essential repairs at his local tennis centre.
